In July, Law.com acquired ALM’s Web-related legal assets, including national and regional legal Web sites associated with ALM’s legal publications. These sites, which are targeted primarily at legal professionals, have been integrated into Law.com’s Web offerings under an exclusive content licensing and operating agreement between the companies. The new contract will provide Law.com with continued access to current and future legal content developed by ALM’s news, editorial and publishing staff for all non-archival applications.

“This agreement will provide ALM’s brands with a premier, aggressive electronic partner, as well as a substantial source of funding to expand our legal newsgathering operations nationally, create new products and deliver enhanced, content-based services for untapped legal markets,” said William Pollak, president and CEO of American Lawyer Media.
