Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell has appointed Brian Casey and Jon Biasetti co-heads of the firm’s insurance practice group, which includes nearly 50 corporate, transactional and regulatory insurance lawyers. Casey, a partner in the Atlanta office, focuses on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, multi-state insurance regulation and e-commerce and technology matters for insurance companies, insurance agencies, third party administrators, banks and other businesses. He also represents insurance clients in the areas of privacy, reinsurance, corporate and structured finance and taxation. Casey is also a member of the firm’s board of directors. Biasetti, a partner in Chicago, represents U.S. and foreign clients in a range of corporate, transactional and insurance regulatory matters. He counsels clients on licensing of producers, administrators and insurers, affiliated and other holding company act transactions, withdrawal from lines of business, redomestication, alternative risk transfer vehicles, mergers and acquisitions and other issues. Casey also serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee and co-chairs its Practice Group Development Committee. Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell has more than 700 attorneys in 12 offices.
