Mark Kirsch has been elected Clifford Chance’s global practice area leader for the litigation and dispute resolution practice. Kirsch will begin his four-year term May 1, succeeding Peter Chaffetz. “I look forward to working with partners and other practice area leaders across the firm to continue providing the high level of legal service our market-leading global clients have come to expect,” Kirsch said in a news release. Kirsch has been a partner at Clifford Chance since 1998 and served as chair of the firm’s U.S. litigation practice for four years. His practice focuses on complex financial litigation and white collar investigations and defense. Clifford Chance has 3,800 legal advisers in 27 offices around the world.
