With the launch of its new blog, Convictions, the online magazine Slate has entered the legal blog world in a big way this month. The blog is an ongoing conversation among 22 top legal bloggers, academics, jurists and professionals.
Since its March 10 launch, Slate‘s new legal bloggers have written over 110 posts, with topics ranging from the effect of “three strikes” laws to the Elliot Spitzer revelations to jury nullification to the alleged pro-business bias of the Supreme Court to the use of “coerced” confessions to the recently argued gun rights case, D.C. v. Heller.
