LOS ANGELES � Fox Rothschild has hired three new media and entertainment partners, Jeffrey S. Kravitz, Martin D. Fern and Donald S. Urrabazo, to its Los Angeles office. Kravitz and Fern are former partners at Los Angeles-based Silver & Freedman; Urrabazo was counsel at the Los Angeles office of Morgan Lewis & Bockius. With the additions, Fox Rothschild has doubled its Los Angeles office to six. Kravitz, who joins the litigation department of the Philadelphia-based firm, focuses on intellectual property and entertainment issues. He handles litigation over copyrights, trademarks, unfair competition, media, libel and trade secrets. At Silver & Freedman, he was a partner in the intellectual property and entertainment practices. Before that, he was managing partner of the Los Angeles office of Lord Bissell & Brook, now Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, from 1999 to 2002. Urrabazo, who also joins the litigation department, focuses on media, advertising, entertainment and securities disputes and has represented companies in trademark, patent litigation, intellectual property issues and bankruptcy matters. Fern was a partner in the new media, technology & intellectual property practice at Silver & Freedman. He joins the corporate department and focuses on corporate, franchising and intellectual property deals.
