Los Angeles’ Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has elected six attorneys to partnership level. Lynn DuBois practices in the tax and employee benefits group in the firm’s San Francisco office. She practices in the employee benefits/ERISA area. Deborah Martin is a member of the firm’s labor and employment practice group in San Fran Francisco. She represents employers in litigation before state and federal courts, and advises administrative agencies and employers on a range of matters. Also in San Francisco, Mike Scarborough practices in the antitrust and trade regulation practice group. He specializes in complex commercial litigation and regularly defends businesses and employers in a range of matters. Ian Smith is a member of the corporate practice group in Santa Barbara whose focus includes public and private securities, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business start-ups, intellectual property transactions and representing clients with respect to general corporate law and business matters. Tony Young, who is based in the Centura City office, practices in the entertainment, media and communications group. He specializes in complex business litigation, particularly institutional entertainment litigation, sports-related matters, and other large commercial disputes. His practice includes representing clients in cases involving allegations of fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and a range of labor disputes. Jennifer Zargarof is a member of the labor and employment practice group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She counsels employers on personnel policies and procedures, employee discipline matters and wage and hour issues, defends employers and supervisors in civil and administrative disputes and litigates class action cases. Sheppard Mullin has more than 520 attorneys in 10 offices.
