New Partner John M. Loalbo has joined Wolf Block Schorr & Solis-Cohenas a partner in the firm’s private client services and business litigation practice groups and will be resident in its Roseland, N.J., office. Loalbo concentrates his practice on probate and trust litigation. He was previously the host tax attorney on Accumulating Wealthand the resident tax attorney on Money on the Line, both of which air on WPAT AM radio. In the pro bono realm, Loalbo, a former member of the executive committee of the board of directors of the New Jersey American Lung Association, prevailed in the N.J. Supreme Court as amicus curiae in C.I.C. Corp., et al. v. Township of East Brunswick, a case involving the protection of minors and a municipal ban on cigarette machines. Elected and Appointed Natalie Klyashtorny has been appointed to serve as 2008 co-chairwoman of the Philadelphia Bar Association’scity policy committee. The committee serves as an informal liaison between Philadelphia city government and the members of the bar association. The committee’s work includes informing the members with regard to changes in significant city practices and procedures, as well as serving as a sounding board for proposals for city policy action that affects the bar association and its members. Klyashtorny is of counsel to Nochumson P.C.,where her practice focuses in labor and employment law and commercial and general business litigation, including commercial disparagement, libel and slander, and First Amendment and media law. Robert Connell Pughhas been sworn in as president of the Montgomery Bar Association’strial lawyers section for the 2008 bar year. Pugh, a Kane Pugh Knoell Troy & Kramerpartner, has been an active member of the bar, serving multiple years on its board of directors and participating in various committees. Pugh practices in all areas of insurance defense with a particular area of expertise in medical malpractice defense. He has successfully obtained defense verdicts for doctors in Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery County, Bucks County, Northampton County and most recently, Philadelphia County.   Shawn R. Farrell, a partner in the construction litigation department of Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman, was recently appointed as general counsel to the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia. As general counsel, Farrell will help to continue the association’s efforts to promote residential development and construction within Philadelphia. �
