The San Francisco-based labor and employment law firm Littler Mendelson has opened an office in St. Louis, Mo., its 44th nationwide. Shareholders Harry “Hal” Wellford Jr., Stephen Smith and Kimberly Yates, all formerly of St. Louis’ Thompson Coburn, and Charles “Chard” Reis IV, formerly of St. Louis’ Brown & James; will lead the St. Louis office. Joining the office are associates Amy Nixon, Frances Barbieri and Narcisa Przulj, all formerly of Brown & James. Wellford is the newly appointed managing shareholder of the St. Louis office. His practice focuses on employment litigation and client counseling. Reis focuses on employment litigation. Smith brings 29 years of experience in labor relations matters, while Yates focuses on labor and employment law. Nixon, Barbieri and Przulj focus on employment law. Littler Mendelson has nearly 700 attorneys and is dedicated to representing management in employment, employee benefits and labor law matters.
