New Associates Philip P. Keating and Lori S. Rardonhave joined the Pittsburgh office of the law firm Pietragallo Bosick & Gordon, which will become Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti on Jan. 1. Keating is an associate in the litigation defense practice group. Prior to joining Pietragallo Bosick, he had been an assistant state attorney with the Office of the State Attorney in Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit. Rardon is an associate in the intellectual property practice group. She is a registered patent attorney and joined Pietragallo Bosick from the Pittsburgh office of Reed Smith. Prior to attending law school, Rardon was a research and development chemist for a coatings, chemicals and glass company. � Elected and Appointed Blank Rome’s Jonathan Scott Goldman has been elected to the executive committee of the Young Lawyers Divisionof the Philadelphia Bar Association. Goldman is one of seven members to be elected to the committee, and he will hold this position for a three-year term. The Young Lawyers Division executive committee manages and directs the business and activities of about 3,000 members, including oversight of more than 30 committees in the areas of public service, law-related education and service to the legal community. At Blank Rome, Goldman is an associate in the commercial litigation group, concentrating his practice on diverse litigation matters, including commercial litigation, contract disputes, insurance litigation and real estate litigation. Stradley Ronon Stevens & Youngpartner Michael O’Marawas recently appointed as secretary of the Board of Governors of the St. Thomas More Society of Philadelphia. The association consists of Catholic lawyers, judges and law professors, organized to promote the ideals of St. Thomas More and the practice of traditional ethics in the legal profession. As a member of the litigation department, O’Mara represents individuals and corporations in sophisticated matters, including class action, RICO, unfair competition, securities, business torts, professional liability, insurance, and technology-related claims. He has litigated a wide range of complex cases, having tried cases in multiple federal and state courts. �
