Tax fraud convictions were overturned last Monday for three members of a pacifist religious sect in New Jersey’s Atlantic County that opposes paying federal taxes.
The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals vacated convictions of Kevin McKee, and Joseph and Inge Donato, finding the district court’s jury instructions constructively amended the indictment.
