Heller Ehrman has poached Weil, Gotshal & Manges' executive director, Brad Scott, for its top administrative spot. Scott fills the vacancy left by longtime Heller executive director Phyllis Gardner, who retired in August. At Heller, Scott will serve on the firm's executive and policy committees, as Gardner did. Heller Chairman Matthew Larrabee said the firm gave the new hire the title of chief operating officer because Scott will "play an active role" with the firm's leadership.
