BOSTON � The chair of Choate, Hall & Stewart’s intellectual property department Sarah Chapin Columbia has jumped to McDermott, Will & Emery’s Boston office to co-head the firm’s Boston intellectual property practice group. Columbia is a trial lawyer who has been lead counsel in many high-stakes intellectual property litigation matters. “Sarah is a world-class first chair IP trial lawyer and proven leader,” said Terry McMahon, a Palo Alto, Calif. lawyer who heads McDermott’s global intellectual property, media & technology department. Columbia has extensive experience in international and U.S. arbitrations.
