HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN CORPORATE EQUALITY INDEX D.C.-based law firms Arnold & Porter, Akin Gump, Crowell & Moring, and Dickstein Shapiro each received a 100 percent rating on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2008 Corporate Equality Index. The index lists gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender friendly workplaces. The rating is the highest possible on the list, and recognizes companies for providing benefits and protections to GLBT employees.
ST. ANSELM’S ABBEY SCHOOL INC. Matthew Nolan has been elected as a trustee of the board at St. Anselm’s Abbey School Inc. The not-for-profit corporation was formed to administer academic and financial activities and to oversee the facilities management of St. Anselm’s Abbey School.
