Law firms, corporate legal departments and law schools are setting out to help thousands of disabled soldiers returning from combat receive fair and timely benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Pro bono legal clinics and training sessions for lawyers have been cropping up across the country this year in recognition of veterans' legal needs and a desire to create models for more programs.
