ADDUCI, MASTRIANI & SCHAUMBERG Two associates have joined Adduci, Mastriani & Schaumberg in the firm’s international trade practice group. Patricia Larios, 28, was most recently a clerk for Chief Judge Eric Washington of the D.C. Court of Appeals. She will now focus on matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Larios earned her J.D. at American University’s Washington College of Law. Jamie Underwood was most recently an associate at Steptoe & Johnson. She will now focus on import investigations and related enforcement issues before the International Trade Commission. Underwood, 35, received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law.
DUNCAN, WEINBERG, GENZER & PEMBROKE One attorney has joined Duncan, Weinberg, Genzer & Pembroke, and two have been promoted to shareholders. Joshua Adrian has joined the firm as a first-year associate. He focuses on energy, telecommunications, and the environment. Adrian, 30, received his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law. Derek Dyson, 37, has become a shareholder. He represents clients in government and commercial contract law, public utility law, and economic regulation. Dyson was previously an associate. He earned his J.D. at American University’s Washington College of Law. Bhaveeta Mody has become a shareholder. She focuses on public utility and administrative law and litigation. She was previously an associate. Mody, 31, earned her J.D. at Syracuse University College of Law.
HARRIS, WILTSHIRE & GRANNIS Paul Margie has joined Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis as a partner in the firm’s communications and legislative practices. He specializes in telecommunications and technology law and policy. Margie, 37, was most recently senior director for technology partnerships at the United Nations Foundation. He is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches communications law. Margie earned his J.D. at the University of Chicago Law School.
HUNTON & WILLIAMS Sheldon Bradshaw will join Hunton & Williams in October as a partner and co-chairman of the firm’s food and drug practice. He is currently chief counsel of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Bradshaw, 41, has held that position since 2005. He left private practice in 2001 when he was appointed deputy assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice. He earned his J.D. at George Washington University Law School.
SALLIE MAE Seven attorneys have been promoted within Sallie Mae’s Office of the General Counsel in Reston, Va. Dana Albertini, 38, has been named vice president and associate general counsel. She specializes in private credit law and most recently served as managing director and associate general counsel. Albertini received her J.D. from Widener University School of Law. Mark Heleen has been named vice president and deputy general counsel. He specializes in corporate finance, securitization, and derivatives law. Heleen, 45, most recently served as vice president and associate general counsel. He earned his J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Poorvi Parkhie, who has been named associate general counsel, specializes in corporate finance and securitization law. She previously served as assistant general counsel. Parkhie, 30, earned her J.D. at Emory University School of Law. David Reichman, 50, has been named associate general counsel. He specializes in corporate transactions and loan purchases. He previously served as assistant general counsel. Reichman received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Eric Reicin has been named vice president and deputy general counsel. Reicin, 38, serves as Sallie Mae’s chief litigation, employment and IP counsel, and also manages legal services for Sallie Mae’s asset performance group. He was most recently vice president and associate general counsel. Reicin received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. Michael Sheehan has been named senior vice president and deputy general counsel. Sheehan specializes in securities, corporate finance, corporate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He most recently served as vice president and deputy general counsel. Sheehan, 50, earned his J.D. at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Andrew Wachtel, 51, has been named vice president and deputy general counsel. He specializes in corporate transactions, loan purchases, and legislative matters.
