SAN FRANCISCO Gabrielle Goldstein and April Weaver have joined DAVIS WRIGHT TREMAINE as associates. Goldstein, who was previously with Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, is a member of the health care practice group. She graduated from Boston University School of Law in 2006. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Fourth District Court of Appeal Justice Kathleen O’Leary has won the 2007 Benjamin Aranda III Access to Justice Award. O’Leary will be honored at the Judicial Council Awards Luncheon on Sept. 27 in Anaheim. She graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 1975. John McNutt has joined LUCE, FORWARD, HAMILTON & SCRIPPS as an associate in the San Diego office. McNutt, who was previously with Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis, is a member of the real estate and environmental litigation practice group. He received his J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law in 2003. VENABLE has added Michael Garfinkel as a partner in the Los Angeles office. Garfinkel, who was previously with Rintala, Smoot, Jaenicke & Rees, focuses on general business litigation, with an emphasis on entertainment and intellectual property matters.
