PALO ALTO, CALIF. �� William J. Bohler has moved his intellectual property and patent litigation experience to Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr in Silicon Valley from his practice at Townsend and Townsend and Crew. Bohler comes from an engineering and technical background that ranges from the semiconductor industry to financial services. His stable of clients have included Hynix Semiconductor, Visa, Carsem Semiconductor and Kumho. His practice focuses primarily on complex patent litigation and trials in federal district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Bohler has a degree in electrical engineering and practices before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. He joins WilmerHale’s expanded Palo Alto office at the center of Silicon Valley. “His vast IP litigation experience and knowledge of the local market will unquestionably be of great value to existing and potential clients, as well as to the firm as we continue to grow our Palo Alto practice,” said William F. Lee, co-managing partner of WilmerHale. The firm has 1,100 lawyers worldwide.
