In a case that went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court and made national news, Lilly Ledbetter originally won nearly $4 million in her pay discrimination lawsuit against Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., but the decision was reversed on appeal because her claim was untimely. Now, Goodyear's attorneys have sent the former Gadsden plant supervisor a bill for almost $3,200 for lawsuit-related court fees. Ledbetter, 69, said she doesn't have the money, and is astonished that Goodyear would ask for it.
