MORGAN, LEWIS LANDS WHITE-COLLAR LITIGATOR PHILADELPHIA Just a few months after losing white-collar rainmaker Michael Holston to client Hewlett Packard, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius is bringing on another major player in the white-collar defense bar. Eric Sitarchuk, chairman of Ballard Spahr Andrew & Ingersoll’s white-collar litigation group, will be joining Morgan, Lewis today. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr in 1996, Sitarchuk was an assistant U.S. attorney in Philadelphia and a special assistant U.S. attorney in Washington, D.C. Morgan Lewis litigation practice chairman James Pagliaro said the firm wasn’t necessarily out looking for a replacement for Holston. Sitarchuk had several contacts at Morgan, Lewis from his work at the U.S. attorney’s office, Pagliaro said. One of those contacts, John Dodds, is co-chairman of the firm’s corporate investigations and white-collar group. Sitarchuk said he wasn’t really looking to switch firms. He and Dodds were talking recently about how the white-collar practice has evolved into larger investigations that result in national cases, Sitarchuk said. While Ballard Spahr has a national practice that Sitarchuk said would continue to thrive, he said Morgan, Lewis has a larger national reach that could add to the breadth of his practice.
