Greenhill, former chief justice of the Supreme Court of Texas and now of counsel at Baker Botts in Austin, and Judge Patrick E. Higginbotham of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, received the American Inns of Court’s 2007 Professionalism Award for the 5th Circuit. The award honors senior judges or lawyers whose professional lives reflect sterling character and unquestioned integrity, coupled with ongoing dedication to the highest standards of the legal profession. . . . Richard O. Faulk, a partner in Gardere Wynne Sewell in Houston and the firm’s litigation department chairman, received the 2007 Martha Turner Award of Distinction as the outstanding Gulf Coast alumnus of the University of North Texas. . . .
