Schiff Hardin is opening a Boston office with two Sullivan & Worcester lawyers and expanding its Washington energy/Federal Energy Regulatory Commission practice with six other Sullivan attorneys. The Chicago-based Schiff opened its Boston office with partner Robin E. Remis, who was of counsel at Sullivan, and associate Monica M. Berry. In Washington, David A. Fitzgerald, Thomas B. Ingoldsby, Sherry A. Quirk and Regina Y. Speed-Bost joined as partners and Montina M. Cole and Stanley P. Wolf started as of counsel. All of the Washington lawyers held the same positions at Sullivan. Christopher E. Eckl is also joining Schiff’s Washington office as a legislative affairs specialist. Schiff chairman Robert H. Riley said the lawyers are a great strategic fit with the firm’s energy practice. “They enhance an already-strong area of practice and add to our national capabilities,” Riley said.
