The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. of America can seek to recover attorney fees from Pacific Gas & Electric Co. in a federal bankruptcy case. In a unanimous decision written by Justice Samuel Alito, the Court said federal law does not prohibit claims for such fees and that the 9th Circuit's rejection of Travelers' claim "finds no support in the Bankruptcy Code."
