Jane Wexton joins the New York and Washington offices of Orlando, Fla.-based Akerman Senterfitt as its compliance practices and advisory services leader. She was previously the senior vice president and chief compliance officer for General Electric Consumer Finance. Wexton’s practice will focus on assisting clients in assessing corporate risk and helping to appraise corporate compliance programs. She will concentrate on several regulatory areas, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and privacy and consumer protection.

Jill Berkeley, David H. Anderson and Seth D. Lamden, previously partners at Schiff Harden, join Howrey’s insurance recovery practice as partners, the second time in a month that the Washington firm has added several partners to its Chicago office. Berkeley will be the co-chair of the firms Midwest insurance recovery group and has extensive experience representing insurance policyholders and claimants. Anderson’s practice focuses on insurance-related counseling and litigation. Lamden represents and advises clients in coverage disputes.
