New Partners HOWARD, RICE ELEVATES SIX TO PARTNER STATUS San Francisco’ Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk & Rabkin has named six new partners effective March 1. It is the firm’s largest class of lawyers promoted since 1999. Edward Deibert, 36, in the firm’s business department, earned his J.D. in 1995 from the University of Michigan Law School. Stephen Fronk, 39, a member of the business department, received his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 1996. Kevin Lewis, 36, a member of the litigation department, earned his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 1998. Clara Shin, 35, in the litigation department, earned her J.D. in 1998 from Stanford Law School. Jason Skaggs, 33, a member of the litigation department, received his J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law in 1998. Julia Vax, 38, a member of the business department, earned her J.D. in 1998 from Golden Gate University School of Law. Last year, the 122-attorney law firm elevated four to partner. � Petra Pasternak HANSON, BRIDGETT TAPS TWO FOR PARTNERSHIP San Francisco’s Hanson, Bridgett, Marcus, Vlahos & Rudy has elevated two to partner. Dorothy Liu, 36, earned her J.D. in 1997 from the University of Washington School of Law. She is a member of the labor and employment group. Deidre Schonfeldt, 38, received her LL.M. in 1996 from McGill University in Montreal. Schonfeldt represents physicians, health care facilities and senior and long-term care facilities.
