AMERICAN HEALTH LAWYERS ASS’N The American Health Lawyers Association has named Thomas Fox and Eugene Tillman, both partners in Reed Smith’s health care group, to its inaugural class of fellows. Eligibility is based on membership for at least 15 years, active participation in association activities, and the maintenance of a legal practice. Fox and Tillman were two of only 40 individuals to receive this designation. COLORADO TROUT UNLIMITED Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher received Colorado Trout Unlimited’s annual Trout Conservation Award in recognition of its efforts to protect streamflows on national forests. For more than 10 years the firm has represented Colorado Trout Unlimited pro bono in a case involving Colorado’s Long Draw Reservoir. COUNCIL FOR COURT EXCELLENCE The Council for Court Excellence honored former D.C. Bar President and former Arnold & Porter partner Dan Rezneck and the Visitors Services Center with the Justice Potter Stewart Award. Named after Stewart, the award recognizes individuals and organizations whose work on behalf of the administration of justice has made a significant contribution to the law, the legal system, the courts, or the administrative process in the nation’s capital. HOLLAND & KNIGHT Janis Schiff, deputy section leader of the real estate section and a partner in Holland & Knight’s D.C. office, has been re-elected to serve another three-year term on the firm’s directors committee. Consisting of 24 partners from the firm’s offices around the country, the committee is the policy-making body of the firm. WISCONSIN LAW FOUNDATION Michael Remington, a partner in the D.C. office of Drinker Biddle & Reath and a Wisconsin native, received the Belle Case LaFollette Outstanding Professional Award from the Wisconsin Law Foundation, the charitable arm of the Wisconsin Bar.
