Before him, that day, was Seth Waxman of Wilmer Cutler who was also arguing his fifth case of the term. The court's grant of time to veteran attorneys is being read as another sign that the court likes to hear arguments from familiar voices -- a trend that sees the high court consistently turning to attorneys who have argued before them previously.
