BINGHAM MCCUTCHEN Bingham McCutchen has added three associates to its D.C. office. William S.D. Cravens, 31, joined the firm’s litigation group. He previously worked as an associate at Spriggs & Hollingsworth. Cravens received his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law. John Dempsey also joined the litigation practice. Dempsey, 30, was most recently an associate with Winston & Strawn. He earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School. James Peck joined the firm’s finance practice. Peck, 39, was most recently an associate with Pepper Hamilton. He earned his J.D. from the College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law. CATO INSTITUTE Mark Moller has joined the Cato Institute as a senior fellow in constitutional studies and editor in chief of the Cato Supreme Court Review. Prior to joining the institute, Moller, 32, was an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s appellate and constitutional law practice group. He received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. DRUMMER & ASSOCIATES Robert Drummer has formed a law firm, Drummer & Associates, in D.C. The firm provides legislative and other public affairs advice to corporations, governmental entities, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations. Drummer, 39, is former vice president of government affairs and general counsel for the American Moving and Storage Association. He earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. KIRKPATRICK & LOCKHART Kirkpatrick & Lockhart announced six new partners in its D.C. office. Mark Amorosi, 35, focuses on investment management. He is a graduate of Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. Jennifer Gonzalez, 35, focuses on investment management, securities, and blue sky laws. She received her J.D. from Yale Law School. Stavroula Lambrakopoulos, 41, focuses on securities enforcement, corporate and securities litigation, and arbitration matters. She graduated from George Washington University Law School. Francine Rosenberger, 36, practices in the area of investment management. She is a graduate of Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. Lori Schneider, 33, focuses on regulatory and compliance issues affecting investment companies, investment advisory firms and investment company independent directors. She is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Nanci Weissgold, 36, focuses her practice on mortgage banking and consumer finance matters. She received her degree from American University Washington College of Law. PATTON BOGGS Harry Silver has joined Patton Boggs as a partner in the litigation practice. Silver, 57,was previously a partner at Ober Kaler Grimes & Shriver, where he focused on heath care, government contracts and related litigation. He is a graduate of Columbia University Law School. SONNENSCHEIN NATH & ROSENTHAL Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal has added two new partners and an associate to its D.C. office. All three lawyers come from Winstead Sechrest & Minick. Frederick McClure is a partner in the firm’s public law and policy strategies group. He is the former managing partner in Winstead Sechrest’s D.C. office. McClure, 50, received his J.D. from Baylor Law School. Mark Cushing, 50, is also a partner in the firm’s public law and policy strategies group. He was a partner at Winstead Sechrest and chairman of the government relations and public policy section. He is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law. Amanda Grainger, 30, is an associate in the public law and policy strategies group. She is a former associate with Winstead Sechrest.
