the cases of 16 plaintiffs who alleged police abuse and racial profiling were resolved on May 21 by the city of Cincinnati establishing a $4.5 million settlement fund. A class action was filed alleging years of mistreatment. The plaintiffs included Bomani Tyehimba, allegedly held at gunpoint after being stopped for a traffic infraction, and Timothy Thomas, shot in the back while running away, unarmed.
