The public interest section of the Philadelphia Bar Association held its first-ever meeting that included all eight committees not only to “show that the section is active,” according to section chairman Tsiwen M. Law, but to mobilize forces and become better informed about what other members in the section are doing.
“I think we were all very pleased with the turnout,” Law of Hwang & Associates said yesterday after the meeting, which about 80 members attended. “We want to continue to reach out to section members and see that they join a committee and aren’t just dues payers.”
