Judge Donald Molloy deals a blow to prosecutors in W.R. Grace asbestos case.

W.R. Grace recently won an unexpected acquittal against accusations of contaminating a Montana town with asbestos from its mine (see InsideCounsel’s coverage of the case). The deciding blow against the prosecution came when judge Donald Molloy instructed the jury to be wary of star witness Robert Locke. Locke was testifying against Grace senior vice president Robert Bettacchi.
