Surrogate GiganteESTATE OF SAID ABDELKADER A/K/A SAID KADER, Deceased (17/1049/B/C/D) — In this Administration petition, Gloria Adorno, President of Gardner’s Pharmacy, as creditor interested in the estate of the decedent, has petitioned this court for a compulsory accounting and related relief pursuant to SCPA 2205 for an order directing Salah Abdelkader, as Temporary Administrator (although the court notes that temporary letters did expire on May 13, 2018), to render and settle an account of his proceedings. An Answer and Affirmation was filed by Hattie Ragone, the attorney for the Temporary Administrator of the Estate of Said Abdelkader and oral argument on the issue was heard on October 24, 2018 before the Surrogate.After reviewing all the papers heretofore submitted and hearing oral argument, Salah Abdelkader is hereby directed to file an accounting, together with a petition for its judicial settlement within sixty (60) days of the service upon him of a certified copy of this Decision and Order.This shall constitute the Order of the Court.Dated: November , 2018

CRAIG, Deceased (17/81) — In this probate proceeding, it appears that unknown distributees, and/or distributees whose whereabouts are unknown exist, thereby requiring the appointment of a Guardian ad Litem pursuant to SCPA 403(2).Accordingly, the Court appoints Kathleen Dempsey, Esq., as the Guardian ad Litem to protect the interest of such parties.The appointment is effective upon the Guardian ad Litem filing Form UCS 872 entitled “Notice of Appointment and Certification of Compliance,” and upon the Guardian ad Litem duly qualifying pursuant to Uniform Rules for the Surrogate’s Court Section 207.13(A).This decision shall constitute the Order of the Court.Dated: September 28, 2018
