Herbert Smith Freehills’ Indonesia associate firm, Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung, has added a restructuring partner in Jakarta.
Debby Sulaiman joins from Ashurst, where she was a senior consultant based in Jakarta. Sulaiman specializes in disputes related to bankruptcy and debt restructuring. While at Ashurst, she was also a partner at the U.K. firm’s associate Indonesian firm Oentoeng Suria & Partners. She joined Ashurst in late 2014 as part of a four-person restructuring and insolvency team defecting from O’Melveny & Myers .
