Wright Medical Technology Inc. has lost a $4.5 million verdict in the first trial over alleged defects in its hip implants.
A Los Angeles County Superior Court jury on Friday found that Wright’s Profemur R was defective in its manufacturing but not design, according to Courtroom View Network, which videotaped the trial.
