Les Parrette is senior vice president, general counsel and compliance officer for Novelis Inc., a world leader in rolled aluminum products and aluminum recycling. He is responsible for leadership and oversight of the company’s legal department, which supports the company in legal and business strategy, litigation and other legal proceedings, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, the administration of operating contracts, international and domestic securities law and corporate governance and compliance.
Parrette rejoined Novelis in October 2009 as senior vice president, general counsel and compliance officer, a position he held previously from 2005 to early 2009. For a brief period, Parrette served as senior vice president, legal affairs and general counsel for WESCO International Inc., a Fortune 500 distributor of electrical products and supplies.
