Bingham McCutchen has opened an office in Beijing with a partner recruited from Jones Day.
Ye Xiaowei, who joined Jones Day as a partner in 2005, will serve as co-head of the Beijing office for Bingham with Brian Beglin, who is relocating to Beijing from the firm’s Tokyo office. The firm plans to eventually hire new associates for the office, said Beglin in an email.
