The Lewis Tein law firm has agreed to pay $400,000 to settle a clawback lawsuit brought by the bankruptcy trustee representing cheated investors of scam artist Nevin Shapiro.
Shapiro is serving a 20-year prison sentence for running a $930 million grocery diverting fraud. He made headlines in August when he claimed he showered gifts on University of Miami football players.
