A Manhattan judge has declined to extend a temporary restraining order requiring that protesters immediately be allowed back into lower Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park with their tents, tarps and sleeping bags, though the protesters’ petition challenging their eviction will continue.
Justice Michael D. Stallman’s decision in Waller v. City of New York, 112957/11, handed down late yesterday afternoon, was a blow to the protesters, who had won a TRO yesterday morning.
