Frank Spinosa, a former regional vice president for TD Bank who is accused of being scamster Scott Rothstein’s yes man, refused to answer any questions Thursday on the witness stand in the federal lawsuit brought by investors in the former lawyer’s $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme.

It didn’t matter, though, that Spinosa invoked his constitutional right not to incriminate himself about 160 times. Attorneys for Corpus Cristi, Texas-based Coquina Investments scored big with an instruction to the jury on the witness and with a series of battering questions that beat back continued objections by the bank’s team of attorneys.
