Nagendra (Nick) Setty has joined Sheppard Mullin's Palo Alto and San Francisco offices as co-chair of the firm's IP group. Setty, who joins from Fish & Richardson, has served as lead counsel in more than 120 IP cases involving a range of technologies for such clients as Bank of America, Cisco Systems and EchoStar.

Nagendra (Nick) Setty has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton’s Palo Alto, Calif., and San Francisco offices as co-chair of the firm’s IP group.
Setty had been a partner at Fish & Richardson, where he founded its Atlanta office in 2006. He also resided part time in its Silicon Valley office. Setty could not immediately be reached for comment.
