Corporate partner Jeremy McCarthy has left Corrs Chambers Westgarth to join mid-sized Melbourne firm HWL Ebsworth Lawyers.
A mergers and acquisitions lawyer, McCarthy has focused particularly on the health care industry. Last year, he acted as counsel to Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. on an ultimately unsuccessful $2.3 billion offer for Healthscope Ltd. in Melbourne.
