Minneapolis-based Dorsey & Whitney has entered into an alliance with Chinese firm Martin Hu & Partners in Shanghai.
The alliance will make the 20-lawyer Martin Hu firm special counsel to Dorsey & Whitney on Chinese law. Likewise, Dorsey & Whitney will be special foreign counsel to Martin Hu, providing the Chinese firm with U.S. and other non-Chinese law expertise. Managing partner Martin Hu launched his firm in 2008, having previously co-founded Shanghai firm Boss & Young.
