The Florida Supreme Court has taken the rare step of suspending Boca Raton lawyer William O’Toole in an emergency suspension, declaring the foreclosure defense lawyer has caused “great public harm.”
The suspension order issued late Monday requires O’Toole to notify all his clients and banks of the suspension and to stop withdrawing money from any trust accounts. He is also barred from accepting any new clients while the Bar’s investigation continues.
