Ashurst has entered into a best-friends arrangement with Mumbai firm Indian Law Partners. The agreement, under which the firms will refer work to each other on a preferential basis, comes a year after Ashurst had to close its Delhi liaison office after an Indian court ruled against foreign firms' practice of law in that country.
