Outsourcing and data security lawyer James A. Harvey has left Hunton & Williams, where he co-chaired the global technology and sourcing practice, to return to Alston & Bird as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property and technology transactions group.
Harvey led a privacy and data management task force at Alston before joining Hunton at the beginning of 2006, along with Karen M. Sanzaro, who is still a partner at Hunton, and Cecilia Y. Oh, a Hunton senior associate.
