The spring rainy season hasn’t dampened the lateral partner market. Law firms are hiring again after the slowdown caused by the recession, says Southern California legal recruiter Sabina Lippman.

Lippman, who opened her own recruiting firm — The Lippman Group — last week after nearly 10 years at Watanabe Nason Schwartz & Lippman, says she’s optimistic her new venture will keep her busy.
