Senior U.S. District Judge John P. Fullam is known for an especially dry wit and a deadpan delivery from the bench that sometimes catches lawyers off guard.
But when Fullam made an obviously sarcastic remark on Wednesday during oral arguments in a libel suit against West Publishing, the lawyer for West didn’t seem to appreciate the humor.
