A dispute among partners at The Beasley Firm erupted into a barroom brawl that led one partner to file a private criminal complaint against another and ultimately caused two partners — Slade H. McLaughlin and Paul A. Lauricella — to leave the firm.

All of the partners involved are refusing to discuss the incident, but the private criminal complaint filed on Feb. 1 by Lauricella against partner Dion G. Rassias — alleging charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment — provides some of the details.
