Rumors began spreading last week of an ugly dispute among the partners at The Beasley Firm, and now the firm has announced that two of its star partners — Slade H. McLaughlin and Paul A. Lauricella — are leaving.

Sources familiar with the situation said that McLaughlin and Lauricella had a heated argument with managing partner James Beasley Jr. and another partner, Dion G. Rassias, at the Irish Pub on Jan. 28, and that the decision to part ways followed soon after.
