Yoss LLP ordered layoffs, missed capital contribution payments to former partners, plans to close offices and is bleeding lawyers as financial struggles worsen at the Coral Gables-based law firm.

Some layoffs were attributed to downsizing, and some were due to the firm’s decision to close its practice that handled sales of foreclosure properties, Yoss said.
