The University of Minnesota School of Law on Friday launched a think tank that will focus on the hot-button issue of Islamic law and human rights.
The Islamic Law and Human Rights Program is part of the school’s larger Human Rights Center. It will conduct research and fieldwork into matters including the rights of women and minorities in Muslim countries and the consequences of the global war on terror.
